Shrink Loose Skin with Raw Food Diet

I asked myself, “If I lose all that weight, what about the excess skin? How do I get rid of all that loose skin?” Horrified by the thought of all my stretch marks collapsing into a field of toneless crevices on my stomach that looked more like elephant skin, and images of my bum hanging to the backs of my knees, I realized it was FEAR that was keeping me from losing this last 25 pounds because I was afraid that being that skinny would show more of the flab and I didn’t know how to shrink my skin to that degree.

Realize, I have lost 75 pounds now (very slowly, so my skin shrank except for a bit of a stomach flap), and still have 25 pounds more to go before I hit my weight loss goal and ideal BMI. I have been at a standstill for the last six months on my weight loss. Any Vancouver weight loss expert can tell you it is merely fear and that a good number of things can be done.

I did a survey to experts and lay people alike and the resounding answer to keep loose skin from occurring was to eat live foods. Otherwise known as living foods, or eating organic and raw vegetables and fruits, dehydrated fruits, raw nuts, and sprouted seeds, a raw food diet simply regenerates the cells of the body from the inside out.

Juicing and even raw chocolate nibs, raw nuts, and lots of fresh veggies and fruits will simply repair the skin from the inside out. I asked around to people who have done it before me and find out.

One guy I listened to said he had lost 100 pounds in weight. He managed doing it by eating and juicing raw foods. It shrunk his skin naturally. Understand, he had almost no overhang, not much loose skin at all! You simply cannot accomplish this on a non-raw food diet!

Another person said that they had lost 400 pounds, with the same end result… NO giant folds of overhanging skin because of having consumed a raw food diet—just a tiny bit of flab under his arms. He did not have a tummy tuck or full body tuck like so many obese patients need after significant weight loss. He did it all naturally, without bariatric surgery.

Vancouver weight loss experts often say that you simply don’t need weight loss surgery, like gastric bypass surgery, in most cases, if you just choose that you want to lose the weight by focusing on health instead of the weight. Shrinking your skin just falls in line with that if done right.

We are living, emotional, mental, and spiritual beings, which is why we need living, healthy foods. In order to shrink our skin we also need to envision ourselves in a state of wholeness and health at all times, and love ourselves.

So the point is not to just fix the skin after the fact, but to do everything possible to allow shrinkage WHILE you are losing weight. This mean to regenerate cells, reduce stress, relax and enjoy life, meditate, act in love, be a spiritual person and/or do good things for people (give instead of being needy or negative), and visualize yourself in a healthy state of being. Eat right with the vast majority of your diet coming from raw foods.

This means you should also exercise. Toning helps to build muscle, strength, and shrink skin. Do things like yoga, walk a mile, do calisthenics, climb stairs, lift weights, and drink lots of water to stay hydrated.

Some stretch mark creams can help, too, but most are merely topical and only help stretch marks when they are newer, to reduce redness. To shrink your skin properly you need to regenerate cells from underneath the surface of the skin, and this takes an 80% or 90%+ raw food diet. Sometimes special lasers or cosmetic surgery is needed in rare cases (more common if you lose weight without eating mostly raw foods), but most of the time it is simply not necessary and just adds extra cost and possible complications.

Now I am ready to lose that final 25 pounds because, I am confident that raw food is the key to shrinking the skin during significant weight loss. And eating raw food helps in the actual process of weight loss too, plus gives you incredible health! I call that super BONUS!
